Post-mount spotlights were not only meant for police cars. In fact, they were a popular accessory for any car. From the 1940s through the 1980s, Americans mounted these spotlights by drilling holes into the A-pillars and roofs of their cars. They were not just appealing, they were very useful. Although there are restrictions in some jurisdictions. It is ideal that you keep it inward and off when driving.
Little Tree air freshener
These were a classic! You can typically find them in almost every car now. They are very cheap and smell really nice. The little tree air freshener was invented in 1952 by Julius Samann, a German-Canadian perfumer. Although several companies have tried to produce samples similar to his design, there is only one classic little tree.

The Brodie knob, popularly known as the suicide spinner, was a trend when Manuel steering was the norm. Named after the stuntman Steve Brodie, it was decided to make driving easier. People called it a “suicide spinner” because they used it to commit various suicidal acts.

It can be used as a gas pedal or even a high-bean switch. Back in the days, everyone who owned a Duster surely owned one of these pedals.
Leather car keys’ case
With all the fancy plastic and metal car case designs in trend nowadays nothing beat the old leather key case. They were more than just leather, they came with practical purposes. This car key case was to prevent your car keys from rattling around the ignition and get caught on your clothes. Although these aren’t really a car accessory, they still deserve a spot on our list.
